Energy Efficient technologies: Towards Energy smart buildings & Eco-green cities
Recent expert analysis reveals that Pakistan has potential of saving its energy consumption by 45% in buildings / HVACR systems. This can accelerate untired efforts to manage the prevailing energy crisis in the country.
Energy Research Center at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus is organizing a series of seminars and training workshops covering policy and practice of “Energy Efficient technologies: Towards Energy Smart buildings & Eco-green cities” on Thursday 11 October 2018. The seminar aims at initiating a consultative process among various stakeholders from industry, government and academia to support the national cause of energy efficiency & conservation in the building and infrastructure development sector.
The seminar brought R & D professionals, technology product developers, government regulators and market & industry professionals together from all over the Pakistan. The forum served as platform to introduce modern technology protocols and materials essential to reduce the Capex and Opex related to building as an energy envelope.
The first seminar was planned on general introduction of the new energy efficient policy & practice in building /construction sector but the trail will follow more core issue like innovative materials to reduce the operational energy cost in buildings etc and many more. Therefore, invitation was extended to participate in this stake holder engagement and development activity by Official representation.
